Gathering of People Who Heal People

On behalf of the Circle of Eagles Lodge Society (COELS), we are honoured to invite you to attend our upcoming regional public safety gathering, held on the traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh. This gathering has been named Dune nalhjeh-ne lhuwez̲del, which means Gathering of People Who Heal People.

This regional gathering will bring together over 50 participants, including 13 local First Nations. We will focus on supporting local Indigenous communities to come together and discuss public safety, and Indigenous reintegration needs and services. We will do this through the lens of Section 84 of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act and the specific needs of the Carrier Sekani peoples and the Prince George area.
